Biography:
Born in Budapest, where he is currently still living and working. He graduated from the Hungarian College of Fine Arts (1988/94) majoring in Graphic design, Painting and Intermedia. He also studied applied graphic design. He won a prize from the College of Art in Dijon (ELIA Competition, 1991) and an Eötvös Jozsef scholarship in 1993. From 1994, he has been an instructor in the Intermedia Department of the Hungarian College of Fine Arts. He is a member of the Young Artists' Studio (1996- ) and of the Young Photographers' Studio (1999- ). Between 1999 and 2001, he received the national Derkovits scholarship. His works have been exhibited in the Goethe Institute in Budapest (1994), the Liget Gallery (1999) and, along with Imre Weber, he had an exhibition entitled 'Images of Desire' in the Ludwig Museum in Budapest (2003) and an exhibition entitled 'Sehnsuchtbilder' in the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin (2005).
